Ubuntu as my OS
Have you heard about this Ubuntu OS? Actually this Operating System is a branch of Linux (actually same at it was…). Its been three months since I installed it on my computer that I’m using in our office. At first I find it hard to understand because in everything that you’re going to do or install you need to go to its command prompt (for windows) but for Ubuntu or Linux they call it Terminal. If you are going to visit Ubuntu.com you will read this paragraph saying Ubuntu OS all about . The paragraph says “Ubuntu is a community developed, Linux-based operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need - a web browser, presentation, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.” So, this is actually a Linux program made.
Another good thing about this OS is that it is free to download and if you already installed one the has a lower version you can update it in a newer one as long as your computer qualified on its system requirements. This paragraph again saying that Ubuntu group promise that their OS is always free of charge. This is the quote, again located at the homepage of their website:
