Before I write this post I research on the web what is the most “IN” style in creating a website that can take 3 to 4 weeks time. Some say if you are going to design a site that is plain and you are going to put only text and a little of pictures then it is wise to use some templates. Well, I may agree with it because as of today there are many companies working online that creates and sells templates in lowest prices. They offered different design and cope up with different categories like business, stores, music, movies or even a simple blog.

In my case, I used templates that is free because I am only doing blog so it doesn’t matter if the design is just a plain with a little background color. But if you are a company that needs to represent yourself in the world of web then you should consider buying the best template the will suit to your image. I know one website who offers cheap but elegant website templates and this is Templateworld.

Wireless networks can be helpful in organizing your business or home office of just connecting a series of computers to each other and to the internet. Setting up a wireless network is not rocket science. If you think that it is difficult then you are at the right place. Lets take things step by step. First lest assume that there are two computers that need to be connected to each other and the internet. Aside from the computers there are a few other things that you might need. First of all you will need to set up a broadband internet connection with your internet provider. It needs to be a high speed connection in other words a broadband connection because a dial up connection will not function. After you get your connection your internet provider usually gives you a broadband modem to connect one of your computers to the internet. If they don’t then you must get one on your own. Having a connection and a modem, a broadband modem, means that you can now connect to the internet. We will not get into the things you would need to do to connect to the internet, we will assume that you are connected and we will focus on how to set up your wireless network. After the modem and the internet connection you will need a wireless network adapter for every computer you want to connect to the network. The wireless network adapter is the component that will receive and send wireless signals from and to your computer. Read more…

We can’t get away from them - computers are everywhere, from the washing machine to the car it seems everything is now run by a computer and with the exponential rate they are advancing there is probably more computing power in the average mobile phone than NASA used to put a man on the moon.

And that has always been a problem for industry, as unlike other areas that computers have to function in, such as the home or office, computers in industry have to be manufactured to a robust standard and have to deal with all sorts of hostile environments from dust filled warehouses and baking hot furnaces to soaking wet production lines and deep freeze lockers. LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — It’s safe to say Jeremy Snyder gets a charge out of the two-seat Tesla Roadster whenever he pulls one off the lot, and not because it’s equipped with an all-electric engine.  Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and many celebrities have already ordered Tesla Roadsters. As he pulled one of the sleek new automobiles down a side street Thursday and put the pedal to the metal, its lithium-ion battery-powered engine didn’t give off sparks. It just emitted a powerful hum, like a much quieter version of a jet taking off.

“Accelerate pretty good?” asked Snyder, head of client services for Tesla, who knew the answer.”I call it a turbine sound,” he said of the sound. “Because it’s an electric motor, it’s got 100 percent torque all the time. So it just pulls you like when you’re taking off in an airplane.” After several years of development, the Roadster — with sleek lines like a Ferrari or Porsche and a sticker price of $109,000 — moves from the drawing boards to the market next week when Tesla’s first store opens. It’s near the University of California, Los Angeles, in the city’s tony Westwood neighborhood, where Beverly Hills, Brentwood and Hollywood practically intersect. Read more…

Have you heard about this Ubuntu OS? Actually this Operating System is a branch of Linux (actually same at it was…). The paragraph says “Ubuntu is a community developed, Linux-based operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need - a web browser, presentation, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.” So, this is actually a Linux program made.

Another good thing about this OS is that it is free to download and if you already installed one the has a lower version you can update it in a newer one as long as your computer qualified on its system requirements. This paragraph again saying that Ubuntu group promise that their OS is always free of charge. This is the quote, again located at the homepage of their website:

The Ubuntu promise

  • Ubuntu will always be free of charge, including enterprise releases and security updates.
  • Ubuntu comes with full commercial support from Canonical and hundreds of companies around the world.
  • Ubuntu includes the very best translations and accessibility infrastructure that the free software community has to offer.
  • Ubuntu CDs contain only free software applications; we encourage you to use free and open source software, improve it and pass it on.”

So, if you are me then why do’n't you try installing it. It is free of charge, no license needed and most of all is that you are free from viruses. Visit ubuntu.com now!

As part of my daily routines as one of the newest blogger in town, I always visiting the website of master yuga the owner of yugatech.com. From his website I’ve learned a lot and read a lot also. Sometimes I am getting some ideas on him because of my lack of information regarding the happenings in terms of Philippine Technology. To my surprise this afternoon when I read an article written by him about the Broadband normalization here in the Philippines because he mentioned a named and he even called him the Father of Philippine Internet. Anyway, the person he referring to was actually one of the leaders or should I say the president of the company where I am currently working,  Dr. William Torres.

Anyway, I think you noticed already that the title of this post of mind is “Internet Connection Issues” because just like what master yuga said I also notice that the speed of internet connection that some Telcos are offering are actually not reaching its maximum speed. well, this is only my opinion. If you want to read more about master yuga’s article then feel free to visit him at his website yugatech.com
