My Mum is throwing her usual Christmas party on New Years Day this year. A lot of the family think that this is a great idea because they will not be working that day and it is a while after Christmas when people are maybe starting to get a bit bored being home etc. She will be sending the new years invitations out with the Christmas cards and I am concerned that she is leaving it a bit late. This means that they will not want to cancel them because my mum is having a party the next day and although it is in the afternoon, they may still not feel up to going.
